My wife told me this morning she accidentally bumped our son’s head while loading him up in the car seat.
He is a non verbal so he grabbed mom’s hand and placed it on his for her to rub.
Then he knocked the window replicating the sound of the whack on his head to explain to mom what occurred.
This is how our autistic son communicates to us today. He’s come a long way.
We’ve been guessing and predicting his every move since the beginning of all this. To be honest it gets exhausting and worrisome.
We are just glad he’s starting to drop hints.
